The Heritage House is a meticulously renovated bank building located on De Smet’s historic main street, Calumet Avenue, across the street from where the Ingalls family lived during the Long Winter. The Prairie House Manor, originally built by Banker Ruth, has been renovated to reflect its Victorian-era style and features a large screened porch perfect for prairie evenings.
